Diagnostic tests are designed to find out what repairs are required to check if your car works properly.
The diagnostic test is performed using a specially designed scanner. Your Mechanic will insert it into a special connector, which can be found under the dash on the driver’s side of the car. Then after, the scanner will receive information about the car’s model, identification number and engine type. It will also check for a specific diagnostic code that relates to a specific problem. The diagnostic test and code will help the mechanic to understand where to look to make the necessary repairs.
